Writer’s Pride + WIP Snippet

All writers are readers. And we have pretty good taste.

So when we write something good – we know it. We have a little moment when we read back over what we have written and think: Wait, did I write that? I am good!

Then we shake off the tall poppy syndrome and keep writing.

This is a shout-out to all writers: be PROUD of your work. If you don’t think you’re good, why should anyone else?

(On that note, here is a snippet I’m proud of:

“John had been ignoring this little voice of sensibility from the start of his journey, but today it spoke with volume and clarity, drowning out the voices of adventure, curiosity, and child-like hope. He knew what he had to do.” )
