Liebster Award #2

I have been awarded this by Alana Munro and Kamalika Jayathilaka, both a while ago, but as I had other awards to honour I decided to wait a while before sharing this one. Thank you both for your kindness, I hope you continue to find my writing thought-provoking and insightful.

As I have said in a previous post, where I accepted an award from Anne, over at Self-Help for the Creatively Deprived (gosh I love that title), the nominations & readership from these wonderful writers mean a lot to me! Since I have received this award previously, I am going to skip the formalities (you can read them here instead), the questions (you can read those here) and charge full-steam ahead to the nominees.

I have chosen these based on the original premise of this award – to spotlight up-and-coming blogs. Therefore, the sites  have chosen have a smaller readership (like me), but they have a particular quality about them that I believe sets them apart from the crowd. They are as follows:

Pressing Stories, for relevant and thoughtful articles – it’s as simple as that, folks. She is a fellow participant in Camp NaNoWriMo, and blogs about her experiences there. Also, it has an awesome layout. That kinda helps.

Emblazon, which I have only recently discovered, is a treasure-trove for Tween reads. Forget YA – this is my genre, and I plan to spend a lot of time over there *maniacal grin*.

Confessions Of A Kiwi Self-Publisher, for being a down-to-earth and outstanding knowledge source for those who wish to self-publish, especially in the realm of Kindle.

After-Work Productions, which is run by the talented Paul Taylor, whom I had the pleasure of working with on our 48 Hour Film (he’s the lead role). I’ve chosen his blog to remind us all of the various forms of story telling. Plus, the guy has talent, and it’s definitely a ‘watch this space’ blog for some awesome stuff.
